牙周病是口腔的常见病、多发病 ,菌斑控制是牙周病预防和治疗的关键。由于自我菌斑控制包括牙刷及牙线的正确使用 ,以及其他邻面清洁工具的使用 ,其方法简便、安全、价廉 有效 ,是个人口腔卫生的核心 ,也是其他口腔预防和治疗措施的基础 ,因此加大宣传力度 ,不断提高人们口腔卫生保健意识 ,正确地选用自我菌斑控制方法 ,可以起到事半功倍的效果 ,从而降低口腔疾病的发病率。
